You can do a clean install with an upgrade version. Format the drive
(and understand this will erase *all* data so have your files backed
up) and boot with your XP cd. Shortly after the installation starts,
you'll get a prompt to insert your qualifying media - in your case,
your Win98 cd - and then just follow the prompts. Here is a link to
