There was a file in windows/system32 named UniCalibrator.cpl which in turn
did something with the colors for the drivers to the screen.

Anyway, I removed the cascading Control Panel menu, and then deleted the
file in question.
Than I reinstated the cascading menu, and now it all works fine.
