Hi all

Well I have just acquired a Planet DH-2400 10/100 Hub because it was cheap.
I wonder why you say ditch the Netgear switch?
All the PCs (and the other rooms) are wired (2 cables each) back into a
patch panel in a central cupboard. This is a homemade 19" rack (so it looks
like a cupboard rather than a chunk of IT - she inisted!!).
Now all the family are using PCs more and more, I want to make it as
functional as possible, as cheaply as possible.
