What do you mean - "huh?"

It is as was replied to you and was provided via SMARTDRIVE.EXE which created a cache in
Extended RAM.

What you are thinking "Smart" which monitors the health of a IDE hard disk and is a hard
disk BIOS to motherboard BIOS communication and can be tapped via software.
