Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, we now have reason to believe
that our problem involves a deleted registry key rather than deleted files
or folders. So, there isn't any file that we can simply restore from CD
using the approach that you suggested. Also, we already attempted to
restore to the last known working configuration, and that didn't help
either. Looks like we are headed for a reinstall... :-(
