Unable to open c:\windows\fonts directory
when I do, I get a popup:

Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to
close......

creates a error report

prompt me to send report to MS or not...

either option selected results in another popup

explorer.exe has generated errors and will be closed by
Windows, you need to restat the program

and

When I try to access Control Panel --> Fonts

same error...

I can "dir" the c:\windows\fonts directory from a command
prompt

FYI:
No viruses found using Norton's antivirus 2004 with sig
files dated 3/10/2004

While it does not seem to impact anything else, that I can
see, I wish to add fonts so I need this problem corrected.

Any ideas would be appreciated (beside re-install ;-))
