    Actually, you are already networked. 192.168.9.1 (and 2) are local IP
addresses of your two machines. Your internet IP is totally different. See

You need to right click My Computer, pick Properties, then the Computer
Name tab on each computer. Click on the "change" button and give each
computer a name and then assign a workgroup name which is the same on each
computer. Then, in My Computer or Windows Explorer, right click the drive
you want to share, pick "sharing", and set them up to share files and
folders.
I'm assuming both computers are XP. If they aren't, then the older versions
of Windows have a different place to set this up.
