Bought on ebay a laptop running Win XP. Don't like it and would like
to install Win 2K, which is running on my desktop. I have a Win98
startup floppy that has often been used for disk format and Fdisk.
However, the laptop did not come with a floppy drive. How would you
clean out the laptop's HD and start over. (Would copying the startup
W98 floppy to a CD or SmartMedia (USB reader) card work?
