You need to be a member of the "Administrator" group on the computer in
order to copy it.
This is due to the filesystem NTFS and the function where different users
can have access to different files.
If you have reinstalled WinXP on your new HDD and are trying to copy your
old files back, it's because the ID of your old Administrator-group isn't
the same as your new.
Right click on the file/directory and select Properties.
The go to the tab "Security" and click the button "Advanced".
Then go to the tab "Owner" and select wich user you want to change to be the
new owner of the file.
A tip is to check the box "Replace owner of subcategories and object" (not
sure on exact phrase.. using Swedish OS myself ;-) )
