Backup Utility Problem

When I try to backup the System State, I get the following
message:
   "The backup file name could not be used.
          "G:\Backup.bkf"
    Please ensure it is a valid path, and that you have
    sufficient access"

The file name and path look good to me and I am the
administrator.
