I had a similar problem recently.

Solutions:
Go to Start and right click on the offending drive. Click on properties and click recording tab. Ensure Enable CD recording on this drive is ticked.

Then backup your registry.

Start>Run>Regedit
Go to HKEY_CURRENT-USER \ .Default \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Policies \ Explorer
Double-click on NoDriveTypeAutoRun in the right-hand pane
Delete the entry
Exit Registry and Reboot. CD's will now also autorun again.
