Hello;I've winxp home, Serv pack 1.
Tonight I downloaded all the updates on the site and
everything installed without a hitch.
However... when I shut down I USED to be presented with a
single frame with 3 large icons "shutdown" "restart" or
"log off"
I clicked the icon and was done.
NOW I get a frame with a scroll menu to pick the same choices.
Why the *%$&&$%# did the fool thing change!
It was perfect! I don't want to use one more mouse click to
do what worked just fine the way it was before.
I only upgraded to XP last month and I'm getting very tired
of working twice as hard to do everything.
It may be stable but the desktop sure is obtuse.
Anyway can I get my old shut frame back or is gone with my
hairline and youth?
all hints gratefully accepted.
