i had a problem with re-installing IE 6.0 and ended up
having to restore msgina.dll shell32.dll shell.dll
winlogon.exe and shlwapi.dll using the recovery
console.... however, now when i re-start the pc i am
presented with the user logon screen but when i click to
enter nothing happens ( a message saying its collecting
the users settings appear breifly)....

what has happened?
