On the contrary...
It also fails to display WINS servers.
It also errors out and fails to even load when I previously launch a PPP connection.
If it doesn't display DNS and WINS in a static context and won't even work with PPP, how can
you say it has "worked flawlessly" ?
One negates the other. That is not displaying DNS or WINS servers are flaws. Again, why I
mention it is not included with the Full Win2K Resource Kit nor included with XP's Resource
Kit.
It might be a GUI utility but is far from an alternative to IPCONFIG simply becuase many
constructs don't work and production of this utility was discontinued ~5 years ago.
Can you point me to a newer version than WNTIPCFG.EXE v5.0.2195.3572 ?

I beg to differ, Dave. It has worked flawlessly for me since XP was still at Beta 1. While
it doesn't do DNS servers, it never has, even under Windows 2000. The user asked for a GUI
alternative to IPCONFIG, and that's what was provided.
