You can always search Google Groups for your name and you'll find your
previous postings. That said, the dsl modem having a usb connection is
irrelevant. Ethernet is certainly better, but since you have usb this
is not an issue. You need to purchase a dsl/cable wireless router,
making sure that the router has a usb port for your dsl modem. The
router will have a wired component, too. You will attach the router to
your computer with cat5e ethernet cable from the computer's nic to one
of the router's ethernet ports. This cable is usually included in the
router kit. The router will then connect to the dsl modem through the
usb port. You may need to get an extra usb cable for this. There are
quite a few brands of routers available - Linksys and Netgear are two.
Just make sure that whatever you buy has a usb connection for your dsl
modem. The router will come with instructions, and here are some
