Some recovery discs simply install an image onto your hard drive. It
restores your computer to it's original factory-freshness.
Other recovery discs are actual Windows install discs, with OEM branding.
To run the disc, insert the CD, then reboot. Your computer should try to
boot off of the disc. At that point you will know whether it is an image
or a Windows setup disc. You can proceed from there.
