Problems with multiple users

I have 4 users on my XP. It have always worked out fine.
Suddenly today it doesn't work anymore. When one user is logged on it's not possible to log on another user.
I have to log out the user to log in on another. Does anybody have an idea why this suddendly happens?
And yes, I have tried to restart the pc.

When I try to log on as user #2 i get to the logon-screen (using Windsows-key + L). When I click on user #2 I see then desktop-background of user #1 and then the system returns to the logon-screen.
