hi i had a maxtor 40 gig hardrive and last week i came
home and my computer was rebooting over and over, never
making it to the win xp screen. ive tried to recover but
was unable to now using erd commander to access the
harddrive i see the size of the srive has changed to 10
meg and is now a 12 bit fat partition. where did it all
go. i had plenty of data on the drive and can no longer
use it i see where this can be converted back to fat 16
or 32 but will i loose may data or is it already gone.
did a backup of the thing last month 3 weeks ago i guess
but have some that i havent burned to cd yet. yan this
be salvaged in any reasonable way. im going to try lost
and found, maybe that will work but i dont know...
HELP!!!!!!!
