an uninstall on microsoft explorer....and it removed the
explorer name that was there on the uninstall list....There
was still an icon on the tool bar after I went back in so I
knew that something wasn't right....after trying to
reinstall from an explorer file I had saved from another
computer for internet explorer it stated that a newer
version was detected....I then discovered through my
searching for answers that explorer came imbedded with xp
and couldn't be removed...and yet...it still doesn't show
version number when I start the icon
