Hi,

When you reinstalled (as opposed to a repair install), you created
essentially a new installation. A repair install would retain all the old
user accounts, a new install creates new ones. They are not interchangable,
and you cannot import the old account into the new system. All you can do is
copy off needed data files, reinstall needed software, and delete the
remnants of the old account folders.
