Problems loading works suite(Word)

If someone could tell me what's up I'd be grateful!
I have a Tiny 2600XP which has been a nightmare since we bought it in October.Suffice to say the machine has been replaced and seems to be working fine except.......When we tried to use Word last night a message kept popping up saying"Error 1311 source file not found ( E:\MSWord\OFFICE1.CAB.)check that the file exists and that you can access it".
I've tried everything including downloading the entire works suite and re-loading it (including a clean re-boot)and doing a system restore but to no avail.Help!!!!!!!
