Now when I try to apply the latest patches I get an error message
saying I havent installed the Retail version of Rise of Legends. Which
I clearly have
I have tried to download the patch from the MS download centre and
still get the same error message
You may have an OEM version of the game, it's a version of the game that's
usually sold as a pack-in for like new video cards. When you bought the
game did it come in the game box with manuals, etc, or was it just the game
CD?
If the later you may have the OEM version. You may not always get all the
patches for these versions, but if you poke around you might be able to
find something online.
