My niece is trying to intall The Sims 2 on her pc. She has Windows XP
Professional and Intel 82865G graphics. That is as much info I have at
this point. She is over an hour away from me, so I am trying to help
her with this long distance. Anyway, this is what is happening when

Does anyone know why this is happening and what needs to be done to

I'm not sure what the error is, but it sounds like the game is having
problems copying a file from the CD/DVD install disc. More than likely she
needs to carefully clean the bottom of the CD/DVD. If the disc is badly
scratched have her check the manual, EA will replace scratched discs, you
just have to mail them into EA.
