Old Game SW Receives Virtual Memory Error

Help Please . . .

I have successfully installed and run several of the Carmen
SanDiego educational games for my grandchildren. So far, four of five work
great. For some reason, when I try to run Carmen SanDiego Math Detective,
it always fails with the message: "Director Player 6.0 - This program
requires at least 3 MB of free virtual memory to run."

I installed the software in compatibility mode for win 98, with 640x480 and
256 color.

I have modified virtual memory per recommendations outlined in a prior
solution in newsgroups. Current status is below.

I have also uninstalled and reinstalled per the manufacturers instructions.

So far, no luck.

What do you recommend that I try next?
