Go to Control Panel . . . .then to Device Manager . . .. then right click on Display Adapters . . . .then UPDATE drivers. It will seek a new driver if it's available. If not . . . it will tell you that you have the latest driver.

I have installed NVIDIA GEFORCE 8600 PCI enabled. This is into HP Home
edition 2005 XP. The graphics card I have later read is for XP Vista. Can I
upgrade the XP drivers to handle this as the system is crashing? Thanks for
any advice to this simpleton, or do I have to change the graphics card?
