Yep, I'll agree with that to a degree. You do have recourse if you chose to fight them in small claims court. If you can prove their software is broken you would win every time. I know in the UK they have much better consumer protection than US so I expect there you could return broken software if you exercised your consumer rights. I have bought many games I would liked to have returned because they were shit but can't because of the store policy. I'm too lazy to fight them in court over a $40.00 game too. We need better consumer protections that is for sure.
