Re: access error violation


I have exactly the same thing. However have finally narrowed it down to
the virus scanner blocking the game. If you disable the virus scanner
the game should run fine. Of course I dont like my scanner
disabled...so I am now off to the scanner tech support to deal with a
fix for me. As for the other suggestions about registry etc...its nice
to have a clean registry etc...but been there done that 100 times over
with this issue. I have cleaned and uninstalled and reinstalled things
to death all to no avail. The virus scanner I am using is telus
"freedom" which comes with my connection. good luck
