rise of nations gold no text on menu

hi, i installed RoN gold edition successfully
but when i run the game i can't see the text on menu, i can only see
the buttons but i can't read the text on them.

processor: Pentium 4 - 1.6 ghz
Memory: 256 mb
Graphics: ATI RADEON 9200 - 128 mb

please help me
