I would like to know how to record or save the music from my PC games
onto my hard drive. Is there a program that will enable me to do this?
It depends on the game. Some of them use CD audio tracks which you can
extract with any CD ripper. Others have WAVs, MP3s or what-have-you in
one of the game folders.
A few pack the game data files (music included) into big compressed
files, usually you need a utility written specifically for that game's
file formats to extract the music files (Diablo II is a case in point),
but some games just use zip files (those based off the Quake 3 and Doom
3 engines for example).

I did understand that once you extract the 1.56 files, ... finally extracted all files (Roms, Tables, Scripts) into the Rom ... directory and that allowed me to add credits and start a game.... tables I had to hit the 7 key to get it to startup. ...
