You need to determine what screen resolution the game runs at and go into Windows advanced screen properties and reduce the vertical refresh rate for that resolution to a frequency your display is compatible with. I can only instruct you to right click on the desktop area of your screen, click properties in the resulting context menu, click the settings tab and click the advanced button. Beyond that point you are using program code provided by your video accelerator manufacturer, which can be inconsistent between providers.
