I'm using Windows XP Professional. When i start to run a game it works
fine
for a few minutes when the monitor turns off (if i try to turn it on i
can't
because it turns off again before anything appears on my screen) and i
have
to turn off my computer (a restart don't help). When i start my computer
again everything works fine until i want to play something, because then i
get the same problem.
What's wrong? Please help. Thanks for the answer.
Looks to me like a temperature problem. While playing a 3D game the GPU
generates much more heat than otherwise.
Check the temperature of the GPU. The video driver may provide a read-out.
Make sure that the graphics board fan runs full blast when playing 3D games.
