Hi will-i-am-king,
Are you running into that problem on a laptop or desktop computer?

| Thanks for helping me.
| I recently bought Shogun Total War: Warlord Edition and after installing
| evrything when I tried to play it a little brief loading box comes up, then
| after a few seconds it goes and then: nothing. i ran this program which came
| with it that analyzed your system for compatibility and it said my CPu speed
| is the problem.
| The game needs something like 230 MHz but it says mine is minus 1295 Mhz.
| Surely this cant be right.
|
| I tried re-installing and rebooting but nothing. But when I check on system
| properties it says my speed should be 3 gigaHerz!
| My computer is Xp Home with 1 GB RAM. I checked on task manager and when I
| try to run the game the process pops up at about 6 kb and then just vanishes.
|
| if this helps, according to task manager my available physical mem is 530000
| and commit charge 427m/2465m. And my C drive has 78% free space. Theonly
| thing I can think of is I recently got broadband. Maybe a program is using
| this to connect and take up all load of threads. Anyway, if you can it'd be
| fantastic.
| Thanks
| Will
