Mine does that very occasionally, almost always when being used HARD, games
or video editing etc.

It's always stopped once pc's cold booted.

I've assumed it was a temp issue as when first got pc and replaced/added a
few cards it did it often until I put some extra fans into it.

Yes The Sound is coming from the internel speaker. I have checked my BIOS
and the is option for an alarm. I make the alarm only when I play games or
when I run Registry Mechanic.

It's *probably* due to the computer getting pretty warm. If you're
not
running any actual software on your desktop to monitor temperatures,
check
in the BIOS (reboot the machine press delete on the first screen),
under the
PC health section which lists all the temperatures, there's probably
an
option for an alarm and the threshold, put it up a notch or two.
