Re: new joystick cant get to work keep getting

Hi sneaky,

If your joystick uses a fifteen pin gameport plug which looks like this:

you'll need to update the sound drivers for your system from IBM.com if
you own an IBM brand computer. Make sure that the driver includes the
gameport drivers required by gameport devices.

By the way, don't feel bad about all the trouble. Gameport technology is
outdated by about a century now. Only USB joysticks are manufactured
now, and it's difficult to even find gameports on modern PC's or soundcards.
