Cod 2 has been running fine and finished the single player a while ago and
have
been playing online since. I went back to single player today and it would
not
run,so I unistalled the whole game which it did fine. When I went to
reinstall
it it says that my cd key is not valid when it is the correct one I am
typing in
from the back of the manual. I have tryed it at least ten times and its
the
right letters/numbers that I am keying in also it worked fine when I first
got
the game 3 months ago. It is a dvd version of the game and was bought from
a
shop.
I believe CoD2 uses an online check - so it's possible somebody else has got
your key and is using it online. Try disconnecting from the internet then
installing - if it installs fine then that's probably what has happened.
You'll need to contact Activision to try and get another key.

The best looking people ever, solid gameplay and a great atmosphere, but reports from the US release say the single-player game isn't brilliant, but if you're a boxing fan it's essential. ...
