Tech-Archive recommends: Repair Windows Errors & Optimize Windows Performance

Hi Maggie,

If the error indicates a file name that begins with ati, or nv (nVidia)
the most likely solution would be to install the latest drivers using
the instructions at: http://mvps.org/nibblesnbits/Video.html#drivers

|
| Everytime I open the Sims 2, It runs fine for about 3 minutes. Then this
| error comes up! It is blue and covers the whole screen. I can't do anything
| and have to turn off my computer. It basically says how there might be
| something wrong with the drive so I should try uninstalling the game and
| reinstalling it. I would do this, but while installing the game there were
| some problems too! So I am afraid to uninstall the game. If there is any way
| where I can fix the game without having to uninstalling it, please tell
| me!!!! :)
