Re: EA Sports Games

Jimmy S.

Thank you very much for responding! You are very thorough as I have read
some of your other posts! Perhaps I need to clarify my problem a little more!
The games I referred to were having problems by stopping briefly and then
resuming! As you know, that can disturb the continuity of the sports games! I
never experienced a "black screen" problem, nor did I receive error messages!
I have the latest Direct X version, "Direct X 9.0", and I downloaded the
latest video driver from NVIDIA. I also checked the audio driver and have the
latest on that as well! I have defragged, done a disk check and cleaned up
the hard drive with "Clean Sweep". I have also checked for patches for the
previously mentioned games! The solutions that you mention are very involved
and I am indebted to you for offering these, but I must say that I'm
beginning to think that the whole solution is not worth going into! I am just
about at the end of my rope in dealing with the seemingly inept games!
Again, I am very grateful for your attempt at trying to help me, and I
may try when I develop a better frame of mind!
