Becky, it would help to know which DirectX version you're running, and which
games you're seeing this. Also if you've checked for any updates to the
games from the various manufacturer's web sites. Have you checked for newer
drivers for your graphics card, and which card is it? If you haven't
already installed it, Windows XP Service Pack 2 includes DirectX 9.0c:
