Thanks Jimmy (sorry for getting your name wrong in my previous post BTW). As
I said I've already tried doing what you suggested in other threads, e.g.
unistalled and re-installed the video drivers, but no joy. I've disabled auto
restart and I got a 0x0000008E stop message but no reference whatsoever to
the display driver? You mentioned DX update during FS installation, what does
that mean? Can it be reverted?
