Thanks Jimmy S for the ideas but I have already done all that and no
luck still crashing but like I said thanks for the ideas.
Tom, I have also contacted Microsoft and so far they have no answer for
me either.
I have updated everything, tried older video drivers, disabled the DEP
setting but before disabling DEP I added the BF1942 .exe's to the list
and nither helped the system would still crash when trying to start the
game. I have unistalled and reinstalled the games and still no luck.
Same as you before I updated with SP2 everything was working fine and
now a hand full of games are causing the system to crash and the only
way I have found to fix this is to uninstall SP2 and wait and see.
If I get an answer from Microsoft on this issue I will post it here.
