GAME CRASH AND WINDOWS FREEZE!

HI, only about 3 months ago did i satrt experiencing major ame crashes and
widows freezing. when i play games i can only play them for a couple minutes
and then it crashes emiiting this screeching noise from the speakers. So i
disable the sound card and attempt to play the game without sound. THe
gameplay lasts a few minutes longer but still. (having to restart the
computer). Also when im in windows environment...on the desktop the mouise
freezes and the computer crashes. I also get random blue screens of death. My
local computer shop has determined it is not the hardware..could this be
true? is it the software maybe..windows or something. I have the latest
drivers for eevry device possible...i have even rolled them back and tried
games...no luck there.

PLEASE HELP ME!
