    Updating the drivers is worth a try, however the game still might not work
    properly. Splinter Cell requires a 64Mb DirectX 8.1 card such as a Geforce 3
    or a Radeon 8500 as a minimum. I don't think the Intel Extreme video in the
    HP would meet the minimum requirements as it does not support all DirectX 8
    features in hardware.
