Winmine... Just a cheater or sore looser?

Ok... I was just playing winmine on my computer and out
of 5 games it cheated twice! I clicked on a square that I
thought couldn't possibly be a mine. It was and because
of that a number one was touching two mines. The game
ended and it displayed where all the mines were and to my
shock the one was touching two mines... What is up with
that??? has anyone seen this happen before and is there
a patch for the program? I even took screen snapshots
because I just couldn't believe it... A game that has
been arround as long as winmine having such a bad
problem.
