Help flight sim 2004 crash

I keep getting these error messages after a while of
gameplay.

AppName: fs9.exe AppVer: 9.0.0.30612 ModName:
g2d.dll

After I reinstalled direct x I got these two.

ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: ff000000

This is the most recent. I have sound acceleration to
basic. disabled combwriting, Lowered hardware
acceleration by 2 clicks, Have set direct x refresh rate
to 60. Any idea on what to do.
