If the IBM machines came with WEPOS installed, then you should go back to IBM for backup/recovery media. If your company installed WEPOS, then you might be able to download the release media per the license agreement.

Hi,
I have been given the task of cleaning up and rebuilding 5 of our test IBM POS terminals... I have the 5 product keys required, but I can't find the org disk to do the install from...
I am new to the ebedded world, and those that did this before have moved on, so not sure what the deal is with these devices. They have installed on them windows embedded for point of service version 1.0
I assume that if i can get the disk from somewhere (???) I can just reinstall and end up with a clean machine that we can then work with again?
Do I need to go back to the POS manufacturer IBM to get the media disks? I have been to the microsoft embedded web site, but they only have the downloads for newer versions, and I don't want to break the licenses on these machines.
Thanks
.
