How can I get EWF status?

Hi All,
I am trying to get EWF status from my application on User account.

I have called EwfMgrOpenProtcted API, but it haven't worked.

I know EWF APIs works on Administrator.

How can I get EWF status on User account.
The other ways?

OS : Windows XP Embedded SP2
