Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

I finally solved the problem.

I had to install the Update Rollup1 containing the USB BOOT 2.0 UPDATE
KB931788 that was missing on my configuration.
After this all start functioning.

Thanks to everybody

Do you have the USB Boot 2.0 component in the image?

Did you run TAP or TA to get the platform components?

You might be missing a driver -

I thought that the configuration was good: if I run it using an hard disk
all the processes end with no errors; the problems arise when I copy the
post-fba files on an USB disk or I try to run the pre-fba directly using
the USB disk.

I tryed with two different disks, 1GB each, with the same problems.

I would like to build a simple configuration running over more than one
specific hardware in order to use it for maintenance pourposes not
depending by the pc. At worst I would like to create a configuration
"computer dependent" but I it wasn't successfull.

In the first configuration I tryed using the TAP created configuration, in
the second one just inserting some components manually; in both cases the
configuration functions saving the file on the hard disk, but doesn't
function putting them on the USB disk.
