SLDX Assistant came out of an attempt to use Windiff.
The manual method is to go through each SLX by hand and eliminate the components that are in both configurations. It takes time, but you will get there.

I need a way to compare SLX files, and I do know about SLDX Assistant, but i
need something right now, and it will take some time before i can convince my
boss to buy SLDX Assistant..
I tried WinDiff, WinMerge but they just lockup on huge XSL files.. Anyone's
using other tools - what r u guys using to compare slx files?
