Bing chen,
Thanks for the detals.
I buld the image and tried to deploy it in a secondary hard disk by
following the steps mentioned in MSDN. Build completed successfully and
booting from that image is restarting the machine continuously.
While booting I selected XP embedded and FBA started and showed installing
the components. Then system restarting again. I am not able to fix this
problem. I tried this in a different machine also but the behaviour was same.
Please let me know your sugestions regarding this.
Thanks,
San

Dear San,.
You just need to change storage devices, HD or CF.
Everyone has his own solution.
In my side, I set one machine to "Transfer image files to a Disk",
"Backup XPE System" and "Keep Ghost files".
To run FBA, I use follow steps.
1. Connect a HD to this system.
2. Boot into XP
3. Copy files into this HD.
4. Shutdown
5. Connect this HD to a target platform and run FBA.

Thanks for your reply. Now I have a general question:
After building the image we have to copy the image files to the targetted
device and has to boot the board .
But suppose I have a hardware/board to deploy the image, how can I copy
the
image to the board. Is it like, PC will be having two hard disk and in
the
second hard disk we will copy the image and will connect the board instead
of
PC's motherboard and will boot the image? I am confused in this part?
(sorry
if I am asking some stupid question)

Dear Bing Chen,
Thanks for the great information. I will go through the tutorial and I
have
a small question.
To build the image we need the real hardware and otherwise it can be
done
through virtual PC. Where can I find the Virtual PC Console?
Thanks,
San
