Re: VGA disabled black, video is routed to LVDS

Hello Oyvind,

I may be a similar problem to what I'm having:
http://groups.google.com/group/microsoft.public.windowsxp.embedded/browse_frm/thread/924c845d16a012b9/6aa46d381bf9c867?hl=en#6aa46d381bf9c867

If you we don't have a monitor plugged into the PC when booting, it reverts to 640x480. This is a feature of the video driver, and I'm trying to figure out how to disable this in my image.

Thanks,
Jason

have made a Xpe image for a PCISA-3716, Pentium M, CRT and LVDS.
I am only using the VGA but i find that when booting with a VGA monitor not plugged in it disables the VGA output.
Next reboot it remembers that the VGA monitor wasn't pluggged in VGA will be black. I have to install new image to have the monitor working again.
I hope there is a solution to make sure that video is always outputted to the VGA?
